Resources for the Government Shutdown

The federal government has shut down for the first time in nearly seven years. Government shutdowns hurt our working-class families, children, and elders the most – many of whom are already affected by Trump’s tariffs, horrifying ICE raids, and mass federal layoffs. We will continue to monitor for impacts to federal programs and funding streams that children and families rely on, including nutrition (WIC and CalFresh), ECE, and child welfare. We will update the coalition as the situation evolves.
