End Child Poverty Rallies
To ensure passage of AB 1520 and the End Child Poverty Plan, ECPCA held rallies between 2017-2019 that featured words from a variety of California congressional representatives, champions in the California Legislature, faith-based leaders, advocacy partners and others. The most notable of these rallies was the 2019 End Child Poverty Bus Tour. Over four days in May 2019, ECPCA drove from Chula Vista to Sacramento, rallying with community members and families, elected officials, and partners at various stops along the route. ECPCA engaged in these advocacy events with support from the GRACE End Child Poverty Institute.
